North Sikkim: A Journey to the Clouds

Tour Start Time: 7:30-8:30 AM

• After breakfast, head to Changu Lake (12,400 ft) and New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft) — 55 km from Gangtok.
• Explore the serene, sacred lake known for its scenic beauty and brahminy ducks.

Optional Sightseeing: Nathu La Pass (prior permission required).

• After breakfast, transfer to Lachen(8,990 ft) (118 kms 5-6 hrs):

  • Tashi View
  • Singhik View point
  • Seven Sister Water Fall &
    Naga Water Fall.
  • Overnight stay in Lachen.

Leisure Activity: Explore the surrounding mountains and valleys on leisurely nature walks or short treks. 

Tour Start Time: 5:00-6:30 AM

• After breakfast start early from Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 feet), one of the highest lakes in the world via Thangu Valley.
• Return back to hotel and post lunch transfer to Lachung (8,800 ft).
• Overnight stay at Lachung.

Tour Start Time: 6:00-7:30 AM

• After breakfast start early from Lachung to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft.) (known for its stunning landscapes and vibrant rhododendron flowers, especially during spring).
• Visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties.
• Return back to hotel and post lunch transfer to Gangtok.
• Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Optional Sightseeing: visit to Zero point (situated at an altitude of approximately 15,300 feet).

• Drive from Gangtok to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (100 km / 4-5 hrs).
• Trip concludes.
